1.Museum Visiting: Anhui Museum (安徽博物院)
The Anhui Museum now has a collection of almost 220,000 cultural relics including many distinctive categories. It is the only provincial comprehensive museum in Anhui Province that integrates nature, history, society and education.
2. Sanhe Ancient Town (三河古镇)
Sanhe Ancient Town derives its name from being encircled by the Fengle and Hangbu Rivers and intersected by the Xiaonan River. Its ancient architecture, characterized by upturned eaves and delicate carvings, lines the polished bluestone streets that echo centuries of history. Beyond the town, rivers and lakes extend into the distance, forming the distinctive waterscape of an Anhui water village. Well-preserved buildings along Guxi, Guan'an, and Gudong Streets reflect the Huizhou architectural style of the late Qing Dynasty. Historic sites such as Longxinglong Store, Xiren Alley, Sanxian Bridge, and the ancient city walls remain intact. The town also bears connections to notable figures including physicist Yang Zhenning. With over 2,500 years of history, Sanhe is recognized as a Famous Historical and Cultural Town, a National 5A-level Scenic Area, and a National Wetland Park.
