We briefly outline the general framework and address its complementarity to other first-principle approaches to non-perturbative QCD. We discuss selected results obtained with Dyson-Schwinger equations (DSE) and the functional renormalisation group (fRG) in the context of a general physics perspective on the QCD phase diagram.

 

报告人简介:

Jan M. Pawlowski is a full professor at Heidelberg University, Germany. He received his doctorate in physics from Heidelberg University in 1994. After research appointments at the University of Jena, the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, FAU Erlangen–Nürnberg, and the University of Tübingen, he joined Heidelberg University, where he served as a Research Group Leader at the Institute for Theoretical Physics from 2004 to 2014 and has been a staff member since 2014.Jan has served as a Principal Investigator in the Collaborative Research Center SFB 1225 ISOQUANT, contributed to Heidelberg University's STRUCTURES Cluster of Excellence, and previously coordinated the theory division of the Helmholtz Alliance at the ExtreMe Matter Institute (EMMI).
