Description
Using the crossing symmetry in quantum field theory, the pion and kaon fragmentation functions (FFs) can be predicted. These are the first QCD prediction for pion and kaon FFs. In this way, a unified treatment of distribution functions and FFs was accomplished. The calculated FFs are compared the existing fits, and they are useful for the future data collection and anticipated facilities.
