 oduction to the functional approach (functional renormalisation group\, Dy
 son-Schwinger equations) to QCD is provided. This includes a discussion of
  the complementarity of functional QCD and lattice QCD for the access to t
 he phase structure of QCD.  Importantly\, functional QCD allows a direct 
 access to the phase structure of QCD at high densities and we survey respe
 ctive results.\n \n报告人简介：\nJan M. Pawlowski is a full profess
 or at Heidelberg University\, Germany. He received his doctorate in physic
 s from Heidelberg University in 1994. After research appointments at the U
 niversity of Jena\, the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies\, FAU Erlang
 en–Nürnberg\, and the University of Tübingen\, he joined Heidelberg Un
 iversity\, where he served as a Research Group Leader at the Institute for
  Theoretical Physics from 2004 to 2014 and has been a staff member since 2
 014.Jan has served as a Principal Investigator in the Collaborative Resear
 ch Center SFB 1225 ISOQUANT\, contributed to Heidelberg University's STRUC
 TURES Cluster of Excellence\, and previously coordinated the theory divisi
 on of the Helmholtz Alliance at the ExtreMe Matter Institute (EMMI).\n \n
